Orders placed over the Christmas break
The deadline for Christmas delivery has now passed. Our warehouse will be closed from 24th December to 2nd January. Orders placed during this time will be processed and dispatched in the order they were received as soon as possible once we reopen. You will receive an email notification when your order has been dispatched, followed by tracking information from the courier.
Can I amend an order once it is placed?
We try and send orders as quickly as we can, so if it has already been packed it won’t be possible to amend. However, we will always try to accommodate any requests, so do give us a ring on 01749 880 992 or email if you need to amend an order on [email protected].
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. On average non-personalised orders are dispatched in 2-3 working days, and orders that include personalised items within 10 working days. You will receive an email as soon as your order dispatches, followed by tracking information from the courier via email and/or text message.
How do I return an order?
We hope you will be completely satisfied with your order. If for any reason you are not completely happy, please return your purchases within 30 days of delivery, in unused condition and complete with packaging. Regrettably, we are unable to exchange goods unless they are returned in unused condition and in their original packaging. Returns and goods ordered in error will be subject to a handling charge of 10% if not returned within 30 days of invoice date. Sadly we can’t accept returns on Seconds or Personalised items, unless they have a fault affecting the usability of the item. Please advise [email protected] that you will be returning items, the reason, and please include your original order number in the returns package. When will an item be back in stock?
We make every effort to maintain ample stock across our range. If an item is out of stock, rest assured our pottery team is working diligently to replenish it. You can sign up for an email alert on the product page, and we’ll notify you as soon as it’s back in stock.
Is Cornishware dishwasher safe?
All our pottery products are dishwasher, microwave safe and oven-proof up to 225ºC. Do not place items on a direct source of heat, e.g. halogen burner, electric hob, or gas burner, or directly from freezer to hot oven.
What is wrong with a Seconds quality item?
Our seconds are products that don’t meet our exacting standards and we therefore sell them at discounted prices. That can be anything from the colour being not quite right to one of the lines on the product being a bit wobbly. Importantly, all product are fit for purpose, no chips, no cracks.

How will my item be delivered?
We take every care to package your order safely and securely so it reaches you in perfect condition. We use DPD and Royal Mail to delivery UK and European orders. For deliveries to the Rest of the World we use Fedex. We will email you as soon as your order has left our warehouse, and you will receive an email and/or text from the courier to advise you of the status of your delivery.
My order has not been delivered, help!
If you have not received your order 48 hours or more after we sent the dispatch notification email, please do get in touch with us and we will be able to check the status of your parcel with the courier.
